I purchased these work shoes a month ago and it has been a long month getting them broke in. Still not there but getting close. In fairness I have wide flat feet i bought the wide version but were still tight across the toes. I had another version of these shoes that have been discontinued the sole on one shoe cracked after about 18 months and they were very comfy but also had a break in period so I am hoping for the best. I wish they fit more like the wedge boots as they feel great right off the bat.

I bought my Romeo’s because I like slip-ons and you had size 15’s. I wanted to give them a few weeks of daily wear before commenting. I am generally satisfied and will do this again. I may get a 16 next time but I will continue to see if the comfort increases as I break these in. My toes are against the end. Maybe these just run on the short side. I have never had so many comments about big shoes as with this pair.

My fifth pair, and love them. I am in building and remodeling and that requires good support for the feet. I don’t recommend wearing these when roofing or other angled work.(they tend to slip off sideways) but when you are on flat work these are a great, comfortable platform.

I bought a pair 7 years ago and still wear them!!! I also bought a pair this past Christmas these have a heel on them that I would rather not have but they don’t sell the flat sole at Cal-Ranch or anywhere but online the secret to keeping the rubber from peeling off and to keep the leather in top condition is “Snow Seal” I put it on about every other week from the sole’s up!!! 7 years and they’re still together, I’m hard on shoes I fish in them do land scaping mechanic work and just about everything men do… I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BOOTS…

I picked these up on the Black Friday deal and although they’re a little on the snug side my hope is that they’ll loosen up a bit as they break in. Good boot at a great price..Thanks Georgia Boot!

Great shoe which I wore every day but the sole wore down to a flat surface in less than a year which became a serious hazard when walking on wet surfaces, it was literally like walking on oil

I Got to tell you CANNOT go wrong with Romeo’s!! ABSOLUTLY THE BEST Shoes I have EVER Owned. Lasted 18 months of EVERY day use in EVERY way. from Quad riding and camping to everyday walking. the BEST support I have ever had!! after 12 months I put Gel insols in there and LUVED IT!! just got my 2nd pair, and just had to let you know they are the BEST. Thank you Georgia Boots!!

Ordered this boot about a month ago, when it arrived I put both boots on and thought they were comfortable. The right boot seemed to fit different but I didn’t think anything of it. I wore them to work for about a week and the we’re fine (I walk 10+ miles a day) and then a couple days later the right boot started killing the top of my foot to the point it got bruised. So I set them aside for alittle till my foot got better and tried again. same thing. After doing that several times I gave up and now I’m out $100+ on boots I can’t wear. I’m not saying it’s a bad product but I think the right boot was defective.

This was my second pair. The first pair lasted several years and wore evenly. Now my second pair about 6 months old has a hole about 3/4″ in the heel area of the insole. What has happened to manufacturing? Insoles should be made of better materials.

Absolutely love the slip on wedge boot!! Fit was perfect, very comfortable and price was super! Will definitely be ordering again.

I am a pipefitter by trade and work long hours on my feet all day. These are outstanding. They are comfortable, look very nice, and are sturdy. Some folks might not buy them because they think they might fall off while you work. NOPE. Try it I dare you. These quickly replaced any other shoe I was wearing and now have two pairs, one for work and one I wear at home.

My employer purchased these for me. I wasn’t a big fan of the wedge sole at first, but after wearing them for a few days, I came to appreciate it while working on roadways. They are now added to my rotation of Romeos (4 pairs to date) so they don’t wear out too quickly.

Great shoe! Wear for living and work. Only recommendation to designers is to lighten the load on sole, it gets heavy and end of day. Maybe add a little cushier rubber compound too. But either way I love em!

Good quality shoe but material is really stiff. Got a blister on one of my toes. Have to really break in the shoe so it doesn’t rub against the toes.

These are my slippers. I work for a western retail store and I have to wear my western boots every day. But when I am at home these were my go to’s (I have switched from the GS 262 to this boot). Very comfortable and affordable. The leather holds up well under all moderate conditions. Oil the leather to keep the uppers healthy.
My only gripe is they get a bit slippery. They are not a slip resistant boot so be careful on polished concrete and wet asphalt. I switched from the GS262 because the sole would wear down within a year. These on the other hand I have had for nearly 3 years and I am still wearing them.
Also the only break in they need is the elastic around the ankle. If you have a wide foot it will be difficult to get your foot into this boot but once the elastic breaks in (a few days) they are a great boot.

Great shoe which I wore every day but the sole wore down to a flat surface in less than a year which became a serious hazard when walking on wet surfaces, it was literally like walking on ice (I’m from Minnesota so I know).

I have several shoes I were to work ,but I keep finding my self slipping these on because when your standing all day and your feet dont hurt, that is a good boot. They clean up great also

These Georgia boots live up to the hype! They are very comfortable, well built and are slip on. The EVA liner inside the boot is well padded and allows you to be on your feet all day without discomfort. They are extremely well built with a metal shank in the midsole/outsole combination for arch/heel of support that lasts and does fall flat. The leather is tough to scuff and moves with the foot. It is stitched in solidly with the rubber guard around the shoe and the side of the boot. An additional benefit is there are very few seems in the leather upper part of the shoe. The less seams there are the less chance water/snow will get inside the boot. The slip on style makes it really easy to wear taking the boot on/off. I love this feature, no more laces! At first it is a little difficult to put on/off the boots but they break in easily in a couple of days. And most importantly my heel doesn’t slip in the back. My foot moves with the shoes so there is no rubbing or blistering. The sizing of the boot is about a 1/2 size big, but most people wear their shoes too small. So picking the size you usually wear should fit nicely. Once the boots are on my feet they do not feel heavy despite clocking in at or around 1.5 lbs to 2.0 lbs. Overall I am very pleased with the Georgia Boots. They are quality boots with a price that won’t break the bank, especially for boots of this quality.

20 plus years I am done with this boot… sucks the quality I was loyal to is gone.

I have two pair of these, one in better shape than the other and both are still amazing. Love the fit, love the look and love the quality! You gotta try em’ if you like the look.

Purchased these boots about 1 year ago and they were a little tight over the instep as stated but after using a shoe horn for a while they softened up and can now be put on with out the shoe horn.
I have over 50 years experience with purchasing boots for landscape and construction and I can honestly say they are the best I have ever bought. Way better than RedWing. Like wearing slippers but with great support.
Currently in use doing flood relief in Beaumont Texas and are holding up great to the humid conditions.
Don’t buy any other boots!!!!!

I’ve been living in the Pacific Northwest region of the USA for 2 years and these are the best purchase I’ve made. I walk about 5 miles every day to get to work and these boots keep my feet dry and warm. Heavy, comfortable, and strong. I love these shoes.

I live and work in the woods in the Pacific Northwest, USA. I’ve owned several pairs of the Georgia Boot Romeo work shoes over the years and I swear by them. When I’m out in the brush to do some serious all day, high balling work I wear a high top, lace up ten inch work boot but when I’m just wandering around in the woods fishing, walking out to check some work sites, gold panning, ‘shrooming, shooting or just enjoying the forests I wear my Romeos. They’re comfortable, break in fast, are very durable and they’re the top of the line as far as work shoes go. I won’t own any other brand. Why change it up? I’m happy with what I have.

Bought these for my husband who is a carpenter. He said they are extremely comfortable. Typially he has had to wear extra inserts, but didn’t even need them with these shoes. He even wears them for other than work he likes them so much.
