This is my first Carhartt Beanie and I don’t know what took me so long. Best beanie I have ever worn. Keeps my head warm when temp is -4 and wind chill – 27. I highly recommend it.

It’s ok. I like beanies to be US Navy style, pulled down and then folded up 2x. I removed the Carhartt patch because it stopped me from doing that. If I didn’t, your beanie makes it look like I have a giant nipple on my head. Don’t dig how the closure on top is finished. Doesn’t lay flat and has 2 ridges on top of your head

Quality is good. But the cut of the beanie seems to have changed. I wear the beanie tight to my head, so the beanie is too big and the cuff is too large. I have 6 other beanies that are three plus years old. This new beanie fits weird and is too big.

All 4 of my granddaughters love these beanies,as well as my daughter, I never thought these would be a fashion statement, my husband says I wore Carhartt for 40 years when it wasn’t a fashion thing, they fit so nicely.

I was disappointed when the label said “Made in Vietnam”. I purposely went to the page that was for “Made in USA” products. The tag was also barely sewn in to the hat so it fell out right away. It still feels pretty solid, but I prefer to only buy products made here. The navy blue is so dark that I was convinced it was black.

Ordered a new one of these to replace my older one of four years and the new one is so small it almost hurts my head to leave it on for any amount of time. I actually have a slightly smaller head so I’d be really worried for anyone else that orders one of these. Definitely not as big and comfy as they used to be.

I’ve been a longtime shopper of Carhartt and have gone through several of their knit beanies. But as fast as I buy them I lose them, so I’m always needing to buy new it seems. I’m so disappointed in the latest iterations of this classic item! Has anyone else notice the weird new fit? There is so much excess fabric that sticks up off my head even when I pull the hat down just above my eyes! This never happened before, the fit used to be absolutely perfect! Has anyone from Carhartt acknowledged the switch? I know I’m not the only one who has noticed and is disappointed. Im hoping some plan is in the works to bring the old fit back, even as a separate item in addition to this new, more “trendy” style. Would love to hear from someone at Carhartt!!

I ordered this beanie to replace a Carhartt beanie that I had sadly lost after wearing it regularly for several years. The fit of this one is too long for my head and looks silly. The extra material is poofy on top of my head and cuffing it more to try to fit my head better makes it look disproportionate and is less comfortable. I’m an adult woman, but maybe I should’ve ordered a kids beanie? Or maybe there’s a knit beanie with a shorter cuff that I should’ve ordered instead?

Taking a walk in the woods during deer season is risky business here in the mtns. Local hardware carries Carhartt but was sold out of the ‘hunter orange beanie.’. Ordered it online. And, now, I feel better about taking a walk.

I only got to wear this once before my ex stole it from me. I wasn’t a fan of the cuff anyways but he loved it. Worked outside in MI winters up in cell towers and said it worked well. I just bought myself the one without the cuffed bottom and was happy 🙂

I didn’t realize how long these hats are they make me look like I have a huge rounded cone on top of my head. I had to adjust the part that’s folded over way more and now it just looks awkward and just a smaller bump.Bummed out because I see other people and theirs don’t look like mine. I bought 6 of them and now I’m stuck with them

It fits well, but the color is way, way too bright. In the picture it looks like a normal pink, but when I got it I thought it looked like it had the same hue as the orange one used for hunting. It was that bright!

Got this for my son for Christmas. The picture looked Tennessee orange, but in reality it’s Texas orange. He goes to University of Tennessee, so I was a little disappointed. He still likes it though and said he gives it five stars. It is starting to a pill a little, which is disappointing to me given he has only had it a few weeks.

I got this for my husband because he misplaced his last one. The one I received is much larger than his last one. I noticed in another review that the sizes of the hats vary depending on which country it’s made in. Seems like a manufacturing oversight and perhaps some quality control needs to happen across the board so the sizing is consistent. And there’s no way to know which size hat you’re getting until it’s here. Quite frustrating. He can’t even wear this hat. I won’t even mark the fit for this review, because it’s a gamble, apparently.

I have a few of these hats from previous years. After purchasing a new one this year to replace one that was lost, I am super disappointed with the quality. The 100% acrylic material has a plastic-y feeling that is not soft or warm. I regret purchasing the new hat and wish I had never lost my old, soft, much higher quality one. Carhartt – Please change the material back to the previous! These are not up to the Carhartt Quality Standards that I expect from such a company.

Well I just received this today in Navy and I have to admit- I was fearful I would be opening the package just long enough to get the return label out based on all of the reviews that said it is way too small. And these were ladies writing this. I never really thought about my head size but those had me concerned that this hat would crush my skull. Well, I suppose I got lucky, or my head isn’t too big ,because mine fit great . I have another one coming in the grey color- so I am hoping I’ll be 2 for 2. I do see why others mentioned looking like a “Smurf” because there is extra material for me at the top, but I’m ok with that. I assume, depending on your head size and shape, some may have a lot and others it will fit like a beanie with no extra. All in all, I’m pleased with it and now I see they have more colors back in stock, so I may purchase more. The hat itself is soft and I’m hoping will not be itchy- but it doesn’t appear it will be just from the short time I had it on.

Color was exactly as pictured. The fit is good. Very comfortable. Reason I gave it 4 in stead of 5 stars is it’s not as thick as my other carhart hat. So not as warm but still warm enough for regular winter days.

Great quality. The bittersweet color is a mix between red and orange, leaning more towards red. My son stole my first one so I bought a second to replace it. It does tend to ride up on your head instead of staying put, which is annoying, but overall would purchase a third time if needed
