i have a hrad time getting a hat that fits. I wear a 7 in hats, and find a lot are just too tall. This is a little more low profile and fits much better than expected. Going to get more.

Our teenaged grandson loves this hat . He asked for the rain defender hoody and I saw the hat and thought he would like that as well.
The quality is excellent. I’m sure he will wear it often.

I’ve been wearing these hats for years unfortunately recently they made them cheaper. I will be buying hats somewhere else. The canvas is not like it used to be and the bill is thinner and does not fit the way they used to.

I love wearing ball caps, especially on the days when I’m too lazy to wash my long hair, or when I know I’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. But as a woman I have a hard time finding ones that are good quality and fit well. I have a little collection of hats I’ve bought over the years but honestly, none of them are “just right”. I recently decided to purchase one of these to show my support for the actions that Carhartt has taken to protect their employees and customers. Well, my hat arrived today and I can honestly say it’s the best cap I’ve ever owned. I feel like I finally found my “just right” hat. I’m about to order a few more in different colors, because I can never have too many hats to grab on my way out the door. These are so comfortable and they fit my head like a glove. They aren’t too floppy but not too firm and stiff, either. I ordered the Army Green and the color is exactly as shown in the picture. I plan on donating most of my old, ill-fitting hats and just keeping a few of these ones around to wear all the time. Highly recommend!!

Carhartt changed it from the old version of the Canvas Cap. The old version was perfect and I wanted another one of it because I owe it so many times, its all worn out now. This new version is floppy which it does not slim to my head like the old version did. The visor of the cap is not as long, and it’s wider as the old version. The visor being longer protected my eyes while working on the farm and while going out to practice shooting. Bullets never touched the safety glasses because it always hit the corner of the visor. I would give Carhartt 5 stars on the original version of the Canvas Cap but not this new version. Please someone tell me they’re going back to the original version. It was my favorite hat.

Bring back the tan! Stop trying to innovate and stick to what works! Carhartt is becoming a fashion company instead of a working man’s brand. Same goes for the t-shirts. You changed the stitching patterns a couple of years ago and they haven’t fit right since. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and make some tough clothing. Rant over

Bought a bunch of these in the past and they were always on point. This most recent one was a dud, the fit was all off, the crown of the hat had a funky fit to it. Very disappointed hopefully its just a one off.

I’ve purchased these exact same hats for my painting crew for several years. At Cabela’s and Murdoch’s. All my guys love them. Very comfortable and fit great.
I’m not sure what happened, they look absolutely ridiculous now. None of my guys will wear them. They don’t fit right, there’s way too much material on the top. I ordered 4 and they are all in the trash now. Don’t waste your money.

These canvas caps are well made, fit and finish are great! Great color selection (need more colors) I wear mine on those chilly mornings and to keep the sun out of my eye’s I also wear it to protect my head from dirt and debris. They are the only ones I wear and and the only one’s I buy.

The cut on this hat was all wrong. I don’t know how it passed quality control. I thought if I washed it, it might fit well, but it only got worse. I completely wasted my money on this one.

Too small for my head. I have 5 other colors. Your one size fits all hats are different basic sizes. Your Bangladesh hats are made small! Can’t wear it. It looks funny on me. Can you help? Thanks. JPS.

Maybe I have a small head but this thing is too big. Even at its smallest size it’s still too big (deep) and it pushes down on my ears. I don’t want this thing sitting with a gap of an inch between the top of my head and the hat. If you try to shrink it, yes it shrinks, but then the wrinkles becomes more pronounced so it looks like a raisin.

Well made hat. I throw it in the wash a few times to break it in faster. I wear a size L helmet and it fits great. Has adjustability either way still.
