I bought these boots from Cabela’s a few months ago online. I am a contractor in Idaho. This is a bad winter. These boots leak badly not good for wet weather or even snowy weather. I will never buy another pair of rocky’s if this is how they make waterproof boots.

I have this boots, described as “waterproof” for 2 yrs now. Used them just on wintery weather for hunting couple times. No issue with insulation capacity, worked good, but related to “waterproof”, you’ll be soaked wet on rainy weather!. They are not waterproof at all.
Yesterday I used them first time on my hunting trip walking on wet condition after a 1 day rainy weather, walking trough the woods…. I came home soaked wet.
Stay away of this kind of boots. Better use rubber if you want to stay dry feet!!!!!

I bought a pair in November 2013. They leaked badly so I returned the boots within 2 months. The service on the return was fast. Now I have had a new pair for 3 months and the seams are coming apart and they still leak. This will be the last pair of Rocky Boots I ever buy. It’s a shame because I have worn Rocky Boots for years.

My husband had been searching all the stores for the boots he wanted. I pulled the website up. He found what he wanted, and he had them in just a few days. Easy shopping, good prices, delivered as promised.

I bought the boots two years ago, the look great and felt comfy but I have put around 250 miles on them the sole still looks new, the boot has completely started to fall apart, i just came back from hunting with cold wet feet in North Dakota, I i very disapointed in the life of this boot, I am a small guy who normally gets great use of my boots but not this one. terible product.

I have hunted elk, deer and turkeys with these boots. Never any issues with warmth, support or leaking- however after many miles, they have become ‘flat-footed’. The inner support has just worn out. They feel more like wearing the old desert boots-no cushion remaining. First three years-great. Now it’s time for retirement……

Boots are pieces of crap and not worth the ground they stepped on

First I have been a big fan of Rocky boots. But about two years ago I needed to purchase two pairs of boots I would mainly use for hunting purposes. I purchased this Core boot and an un-insulated version. Both are “Guaranteed Rocky® Waterproof construction”. The first time I noticed any issue was hunting in tall wet grass. The un-insulated version I was wearing soaked through. Since I had not had these boots for a year yet I checked on the warranty of these boots, only to find out they are only guaranteed for six months. This past fall I found the insulated version was not waterproof either. My mistake was not buying boots with Gore-Tex as I had in the past. Also since these boots do not have Gore-Tex, they do not wick sweat.
