The iconic Georgia Giant Romeo is our best-selling shoe for a reason. The upper has been constructed with durable and soft full-grain leather; which looks great regardless of whether it is on your worksite or out on the town. Finger pulls and elastic twin gores make these shoes easy to slip on and off. Inside these men’s Romeo shoes, Georgia Boot added a high-performance lining to wick moisture away and keep your feet dry. Likewise, the mesh-covered cushioned insole is soft and comfortable. For additional cushioning, these slip-on shoes have an EVA midsole. The Goodyear® welt construction makes the structure of these shoes extremely stable and enhances the footwear’s durability and strength. And with this construction, after years of wear, you can take these Georgia Giant Romeos to a shoe repairman and have the outsole completely replaced. These Romeo work shoes have a steel shank that helps you maintain steady footing and supports the arches of your feet. A Georgia Giant slip resistant polyurethane outsole resists abrasion, chemicals and oils.

I loved the look of these boots the second they came out of the box. Until the leather loosens up, they will be very snug when you first put them on. But after the break-in period, they are a really comfortable and despite the weight, they don’t feel like a heavy shoe. I’ve swapped these out for my running shoes as my go to shoe. Granted, you’ll find higher end shoes that might be better, but for the price and craftsmanship, these Georgia Boots are amazing

I bought Romeo’s cause my co-workers swear buy them(one has had his for 2+ years). They feel great once they are broken in, but the durability is questionable. My first pair lasted six months before the toe split and the heel broke away from the sole. I had bought at Fred Meyer’s and was passed the return date. I decided to purchase a 2nd pair thinking maybe i got a defective pair since my co-workers lasted so long. Same issue as before. Also have another guy who just got new ones and he swears by his 2+ yrs old high top Romeos , but is having the same issue with his new pair, and his toe is starting to crack. Not sure if the manufacturing process has changed, outsourced? I think they are a great boot for a weekend warrior, but not meant to be an everyday construction boot.

My first pair of Romeos had a Vibram sole, still going after 20+ yrs. My next purchase had “Oil Resistant”. Bought both Soggy Brown and Black colors and loved them and then the soles started to crack and fall apart and left a mess on the carpet.

I don’t usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. After a few days of break in, they are super comfortable. The quality is awesome. I hate shoes where the glued sole comes loose and starts flapping. These are made of heavy boot leather and the stitched goodyear welt means they wont come loose and can be resoled when you wear them out. For the price I DEFINITELY recommend these shoe/boots

When Danner quit making there Romeo show, I had to look elsewhere. I am impressed with the quality of the Georgia Romeo, the rubber around the top of the sole and bottom of the leather is smart move. The leather is thick which takes a little longer to wear in but should last a long time. My last Danner Romeo’s were on their fourth sole, so I tend to keep shoes for a while. In quality I would have to say Georgia Boot absolutely CRUSHES Danner for the Romeo style show, and this from a Danner fan boy.
My one complaint is the horrible traction. These are supposed to be a work shoe but the traction is so minimal that I would never use it for real construction type work. On snow and ice you had need to have either a good will or good health insurance. If the sole is wet and you step on tile or another hard slick surface maintaining your balance requires you to complete a short program that would gain you a 9.7 from Olympic skating judges. A company makes a really nice product and skimps out on the traction? Doesn’t make much sense. Shoes are three weeks old and I am already thinking about having them resoled.
If these had traction I would have to say they are the pinnacle of the Romeo design. But what good is a show that is of the highest quality, looks great and fits excellent if you cannot maintain traction? I would have given it five stars with a different sole.

Needed to exchange for better fit. Absolutely flawless transaction. My son is extremely pleased with his new work shoes.

Honestly I did not like these things at all when I tried them on but several co-workers wear them and swear by them so I figured maybe the problem was me. I couldn’t get my foot into them without a lot of effort and the first few hours wearing them was pretty uncomfortable. I started to regret buying them. But then, as I started to break them in, they began to get more and more comfortable. They looked great and I got several compliments on how good they look. I’m actually falling in love with these boots. If you can just get past the initial wearing in phase with these, I promise you, you will love them too. Just a fantastic boot that looks great and are built to last.

I wore lace up combat and work boots for, well I’m 64 and these are the first pull on boots. I always choose lace ups because I like them tight fit. But they require lacing I got them because I was recovering from my 3rd back surgery and lacing was difficult. I knew Georgia makes a good boot and looked at these. I really like the style. I wear them daily. I have a small backyard farm with chickens and a garden. These boots are the best. Water proof and very easy to clean. They polish up good too.

I bought three pairs of these shoes. I bought the first pair and soaked them and tried to stretch them out I thought I was making progress, but I guess not enough. I caught a good sale and bought two more pair, which I wonder if I will ever get to wear. I love them I just can’t wear them very long as they are tight.

I bought these work shoes as they advertise “the most comfortable work shoe/boot.” I’ve been wearing mine for almost 3 weeks and my feet are not happy with the shoe. I’m praying that they are hard to break in, but for the most part I’m not happy with the purchase! But got to say they are good looking, and built to last! I just they were more comfortable? I might try another boot!
