We ordered these boots for my son for his birthday. He has worn them religiously everyday. The toes of them are already worn severely after only 1 week. Not pleased to say the least. They are certainly not worth the price and I’m very displeased that I made this purchase.

I ordered these boots a few weeks ago for my nine year old son. We live in the mountains of Colorado and he wanted boots like he sees the men around here wearing, including his father and local miners, timbermen, and law enforcement. These seemed to be the only logging boots available for a boy his size. They arrived and he quickly laced them up and came out to help his grandfather and I cut wood. He wore them to school for one week before the toes were worn nearly completely through. I read the description and it said they were made of goatskin. I thought surely they are more rugged than kid gloves and gave them a shot. Well, they are little better than kid gloves in reality. The soles are great and the craftsmanship is sufficient, but the hide from which these boots where cut is simply unequal to the job of withstanding the abuse that actual work will dish out. I will not purchase another pair of these for either of my children until they start making them from cowhide and a stout one at that. I have coated the toes with an epoxy treatment that I use on my safety toes. This will hopefully get them to last a year. It is a shame that such an otherwise fine boot is made of such tender leather.

I bought some of these boots for my son after someone recommended them. The heel feels durable. But the leather is peaking off already and my son just wore them once to school

I bought these boots for my 6yr old and they have been awesome. We live and work on our busy cattle farm, so these boots are in mud, manure, and hay fields. My son says they are comfortable and his favorite go to boots (trust me he has several other brands). I don’t know what the people in the other reviews are talking about, because my sons boots have held up very well. You can’t find a better boot on the market for little kids!

I bought these boots for my 6 and 8 year old sons and the same day I got them in the mail they started getting completely messed up with just wearing them around the house. All the finish completely came off of them and they look 3 years old in 2 days!

These boots are heavy, they hurt the feet after wearing them for over an hour, the bottom of these boots got worn out after just three months of moderate use, and the lace up pieces will get stuck together if they are not all carefully covered with pants causing the wearer to fall.
