I have severe lower back pain due to crushed discs and picked this up on the way to work a few days ago and wow! HUGE difference in how I felt at the end of the day after hanging drywall! I have seen some reviews of guys complaining about the sizes not being right but it wasn’t an issue for me. I’m not one to leave reviews on anything other than knives or tools but this worked so well I felt compelled to leave a positive review for it. Great product and much appreciated! Thanks Kobalt!

Shoulder strap came off after 3 weeks of use this was my second purchase of this belt, 1st Belt did the same thing but lasted 4 or 5 months not sure how long since did not keep original receipt.

Just as firm as other brands of this type with or without suspenders. None of the elastic/velcro type will get as tight as I sometimes like, but now I have two to overlap. Suspenders do allow it to easily undo, hang there, then refasten, as when making a trip to the urinal.

THE INFO ON THE TAG SAID THAT IT WAS. GOOD FOR A WAIST OF 28 TO 38. I HAVE 35 INCH WAIST AND COULD NOT GET IT TO FIT. ???

Well, I’m officially old. I gardened for 20 minutes and my back hurt so much I would have had to quit without this belt. After I got it on, I was able to weed and mulch for 2 more hours. I read many of the other reviews saying that the belt runs small so I had high hopes. I’m a 5 ft. tall, 64 yr. old woman with a 26 inch waist and finding a back support belt that runs this small can be difficult. I was able to adjust it to fit perfectly and, wow, what a difference. My back pain stopped immediately. The belt seems sturdy and well made so it should last a while. The only downside is this belt is made for a man’s physique. Because my hips curve, the belt kept riding up and then when I pulled it down, my pants went down too! Eventually I just stopped trying to pull it down, and it worked fine where it was. I’m so very pleased with this product because I thought I was going to have to give up gardening, but this belt has made it possible to continue doing something I love!

is a good fit and supports the back really good . My olny suggestion would be to make the straps romevable( like you could keep them attached if you liked or remove if it feels more comfortable that way)

…not even close to 48″ as stated…the ends when stretched are not 48″ in length. When you utilize the 3″ of velcro to secure, 39″ is maximum waist size. I wish they would have copied the brand they replaced with this kobalt product
