My previous pair of Rocky boots were bullet proof. They lasted for several years of hard hunting. I literally wore the soles off of them, but the boots held up like a champ. Unfortunately, that isn’t the story with this pair. These are very warm, but not as tough. After a few years, they are falling apart. The upper is separating from the sole. Disappointing for sure.

Have these boots a few years and rubber base cracked and broke off on 1 boot.

I have an older pair of Core boots that are all nylon, no leather or rubber bumper. When first worn the pattern under the insoles irritated the soles of my feet. This was eliminated by adding a pair of cheap insoles from Dollar General. I heat my home with wood and for the last 5 seasons have cut 8 to 10 full cord per year using these boots which is not the best type of use for a non-leather boot but they have held up remarkably well. Where I cut is extremely nasty brush and Mountain Laurel. ALL of the stitching is still perfect, no fraying or unraveling and the nylon is near perfect also. The soles are like new. I didn’t experience any wet feet until this year and an application of silicon water proofing. My feet have never been uncomfortably cold wearing these boots even though I can feel cool thru them when very cold or in deep snow. My size 10 wide fit well and are still comfortable.

I bought these boots two months ago. Went hunting a few times (granted, in New Hampshire snow) and work outside for part of each day doing winter landscaping. I ask a lot of my boots but hoped these would hold up better. I have contacted customer service and hope they will make this right with an upgrade to a better boot (if they have one).

I have owned Rocky insulated hunting boots before and was very satisfied. In fact, the last pair that I had probably lasted for over ten years before I essentially wore them out. So, in August of 2015, I purchased a new pair of Rocky boots on-line. At that time, they were a new model, so there were no reviews to read to warn me of this defect. They look good. They are comfortable and I was able to wear them right out of the box with no break-in period, They are well insulated and warm, but THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF. I have repeatedly treated them (virtually saturating the boots) with commercial grade “Heavy Duty” water repellent silicone protectant spray, but they still leak Last week, I was turkey hunting and there was just some dew on the grass and my socks and feet got soaking wet. I may keep these boots to hunt pronghorn antelope on the dry prairies, but they are totally useless in snow or even wet grass.

Bought these boots hoping they would be like my old Rocky boots. I got the same size as my old boots but these seemed to run a little bigger and they were also a little bulkier than I would have liked. They appeared to be nice and comfortable.

I bought these boots a few months ago and only use them for two minor outings. The boots are comfortable but the seams blew out on both left and right boots. Apparently, the seams are poorly constructed and this problem seems to be common for this boot. Rocky, I highly recommend pulling these boots off the shelves if you want to become, let alone remain competitive with the hunting community. I do not have my receipt but I will try to get a refund where I bought it. However, the right thing to do is…pull these boots off the shelves and “no questions asked” refund or replace the boots with something of equivalent value. If customers are willing to pay extra, offer a higher rated boot to ensure customer satisfaction!
Thank you,

Bought a pair last fall, they have been a superb pair of boots for my flat duck feet.
I’ve always had difficulty finding boots that fit my 14 wide 275lb needs, these for whatever reasons and I’m absolutely satisfied with everything regarding these boots, are like walking on a cloud. No shoes in my 60 years have come close. And they are great rural farm wear also. A year plus on and they have not a defect to be found. My wieght and constant use in mud, cutting firewood, tending livestock, working my vegetable fields, hunting, setting traps etc, perform splendidly. They are so comfortable when I wear other shoes after a few hours all I can think of is getting these Rocky boots back on my feet because of how soothing and the nice springy support they provide.
I’m getting another couple pairs before they aren’t available because I doubt I’ll find something as nice.

I bought these last October for our annual November Deer Hunting. The first trip the laces iced up and one of the plastic eyes pulled out when removing the boot, I figured I would deal with it.. Last week I was wearing them and noticed my right foot was wet. The Stitching let loose. Simple math – I owned them 13 months. I wore them on 2 annual trips. Out of warranty – got a 30% discount to buy something else off the website.
